WATCH: Kano youths hail Ganduje despite allegations he sabotaged public projects

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje is greeted in the streets of Kano, despite allegations that he sabotaged public projects by receiving bribe from contractors.
Some youths in the state could be seen flocking around Ganduje’s car and excitedly hailing him as he returned the gesture.
A court had ordered the state House of Assembly to put on hold investigations into the videos circulated by journalist Jaafar Jaafar.
Several clips purportedly showing Ganduje receiving bribe from contractors in the state had been released to the public by Jaafar, but the governor denied the allegations, describing the videos as ‘cloned’.
The governor apparently has little to worry about on his second term chances.
