WATCH: Drug abuser causes scene in Ikeja
An alleged drug abuser who overdoses on Tramadol and weed usually causes a scene on Adeleke street, Allen in the Ikeja area of Lagos.
Newsroom reliably gathers from a resident that the alleged addict, after overdosing on the drugs, would plank for one hour till his eyes clears.
“He does it every single day,” the resident told us.
“It’s now normal to everyone on that street as they are used to seeing him everyday.”
Asked if anyone knows his name or where he lives, the resident said: “Who will talk to him? Everyone is scared. So they quickly pass by for fear of him being harmful.”
Drug abuse has become rampant among Nigerian youths, and proper measures have not been enforced by the government to tackle the menace.
