WATCH: Alleged thieves ordered to dance, wave at vehicles as punishment in Bayelsa
People in Bayelsa State may have found alternatives to lynching of suspected criminals with less brutal forms of punishment.
Two suspected thieves, according to a witness, were subjected to light forms of humiliation by their captors.
One suspect, an alleged bucket thief, was ordered to stand in the middle of the road to wave and greet all vehicles passing by, while the other, an alleged phone thief, was told to dance and entertain his captors.
However, all criminal suspects should be handed to the police for proper investigation.
