Viewing Center: The home of bants football fans can’t stop going

The football viewing center is a different world entirely, clouded by an incredible atmosphere, every corner of the hall is overtaken by chants of fans cheering their club or lamenting an woeful performance.

From fierce debates to venomous lamentations, the viewing center has different shades of drama, and above all, it is the home of bants!

And what is football without bants? How do fans throw missiles of bants without derbies that give them bragging rights and keep their adrenaline pumping?

There are 38 games in the Premier League every season, but only a few of the games are fierce and venomous – they are the ‘Big Games’ or call them the Derbies – Manchester Derby, London Derby, North London Derby. A London Derby between Chelsea and Arsenal cannot be compared to a game between West Ham and Arsenal, although it is also between two London rivals.

The ‘Big Match’ is what every football fan looks forward to as soon as the fixtures for the new football season are announced.

Some say football at home lacks the vibe of the more fierce viewing centers, but anyone who has enjoyed a derby at home with friends or family members from rival teams will confirm that the home spirit is also venomous and loud as the viewing center.

It is still early in the new season and the big games have started. Last week it was Chelsea swallowing the bitter pill of two goals from EPL champions and on Monday the Gunners will be visiting the Champions at Anfield to test their arsenal if it is truly battle ready for the new season as their fans claimed.

With an impressive double win over Liverpool in three months crowned with the Community Shield early in September, fans are expecting Arsenal to follow that up with another victory at Anfield on Monday evening.

It’s still the early stage of the new season and Arsenal fans are enjoying plenty of exciting moments already, we can only hope they sustain the tempo before they become subject of viewing center bants for the rest of the season.

But there is a consolation for fans if their team fails to pull up an extraordinary performance. It appears it is not safe yet to go to the viewing center, home is the new viewing center as the world continues to observe social distancing.

So how do you enjoy the game? Check if your DStv subscription is not expiring soon, even if it is, activate the auto-subscription option to avoid stories that touch the heart. You are on your way to turning your home into a viewing center, what’s next is to bring in the banter spirit. Your safety is more important.
