VIDEO: Brave woman fights off thief at gunpoint in Russian supermarket
A video showing a brave woman fighting off an armed thief has been released by the police.
The unnamed woman’s gallant resistance at gunpoint was reportedly caught on the CCTV camera of a Pyaterochka supermarket in Russian.
The masked thief managed to escape empty handed after the woman successfully alerted others.
The incident reportedly happened in January, but police have only just released the footage after a suspect was arrested.
The unnamed 44-year-old suspect however denies any involvement in the attempted heist.
“Nothing happened, I did not have a gun and I was never there,” he told the police.
