Two students of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo State, narrowly escaped death on Wednesday after their vehicle was allegedly chased to an accident by SARS operatives.
The students, Seun Ogunmola and Deborah Iyanuoluwa, both Accounting students, are now being treated at the Federal Medical Centre, Owo.
Ogunmola had lost control of the car while being chased, and the officials, on realising what they had caused, allegedly abandoned the victims and fled.
The students were rescued by sympathisers who raced to the scene of the accident.
The identities of the officials who allegedly chased the students were unknown.
