Two men gang-rape 14-year-old hairdresser in Ogun
A 14-year-old girl has been sexually assaulted, allegedly by two men, identified as Abiodun Ishola and Kehinde Oloyede.
Police arrested Abiodun and Kehinde for the crime in Obantoko, in the Odeda Local Government Area of Ogun state.
Police spokesperson in the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said both men committed the crime on Saturday, April 28.
The victim was said to be on her way to her workplace, unaware that sanitation was still on, when Abiodun stopped her.
“Abiodun, who was sitting in front of his father’s house, informed her of the restriction of movement and asked her to stay in the house pending when the exercise would end,” Oyeyemi said.
“While she was with Abiodun, the victim said he took her bag inside the room and when she wanted to leave, he told her to go to pick her bag, not knowing that he (Abiodun) had sent for his friend, Kehinde, who later joined him. They both forcefully had carnal knowledge of her.
“It was her screams that attracted people who eventually rescued her.”
The police boss said the suspects have confessed to the crime, while the victim has been taken to a hospital for medical examination.
