Two child rapists indicted for filming act on 9-month-old baby
Two child rapists have been indicted by a Shelby County Grand Jury after being found guilty of recording their rape of a 9-month-old baby.
Authorities said 19-year-old Isiah Hayes was sexually aroused and performing sex acts on the child while 22-year-old Daireus Ice filmed a series of videos.
In the video, one of the suspects was reportedly seen exposing and touching himself with the child, who was naked from the waist down.
Police said in another video, the suspect was seen performing sex acts on the child.
The Grand Jury indicted Hayes on aggravated rape of a child and especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.
Ice was indicted on aggravated rape of a child/ criminal responsibility for conduct of another and especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.
The incident had been brought to authorities’ notice in February 2018 by the baby’s mother who found videos of the crime on a cellphone. She was able to get Hayes’ information on Facebook and shared with the police.
