TRAGIC: Man knocked down by vehicle in Lagos dies in hospital hours after
An unidentified man was knocked down by an over-speeding vehicle while attempting to cross to the other side of the road along Opebi link bridge, Ikeja area of Lagos early Thursday morning.
Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad raced to the scene and administered first aid to the victim as a result of the serious injuries he sustained.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested.
The victim, however, died while receiving treatment at the hospital hours after.
