Trader arraigned for allegedly raping 16-year-old girl
A trader, Akeem Omole is standing trial for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl at his Agege residence.
Akeem, who resides at 35, Olaleye Street, Oko-Oba, Agege appeared before an Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on Friday on one-count charge of rape.
According to NAN, the Prosecutor, Inspector Simeon Inuoha, told the court that the accused lured his victim into his room under the pretence of sending her on an errand.

“The accused shut the door at her and raped her,” Inuoha said.
The Chief Magistrate, Mrs B.O Osunsanmi, granted Akeem a bail of N300,000 with two sureties in like sum after he pleaded “not guilty” to the charge.
The case was adjourned till January 31, 2017.
