Toddler found dead as family tried to raise N5m demanded by kidnapper cousin

The body of a 4 year old boy has been founded after the family failed to raise the ransom on time.

According to a neighbour who shared the story of Facebook, the family had been searching for the boy for a few days only to find his corpse in a nearby uncompleted building.

Police have arrested a cousin of the boy who is suspected to have carried out the dastardly act. In his confessional statement, the unnamed cousin was said to have tied the boy with ropes and placed a block on his head- which killed him after a few hours.
