Three Nigerian children die after dad loses job, turns truck-pusher
Jennifer Chinonye Umeh share the following on Facebook.
“It’s 2:03 and we are awake, mourning the death of a little boy. This is the third child this young couples are losing (two boys and a girl).
“They were never like this before. The husband used to be a hardworking man (he repairs trucks and big vehicles). But it’s been years since he lost his job (now a wheel barrow pusher), life have not been the same. Living in a room apartment with five children and watching them die one after the other because of your inability to feed them.
“Last year I talked to my mum to accept the one that was 5 years old so that she can be living with us. Her name is Miracle, she is very pretty. People won’t know she is not one of my sibling. I made everyone to believe she is my sibling.
“In fact, most times I told them she is my mum’s last born. Like sometimes I wonder how this pretty girl would be suffering. The mother is about to kill herself with tears, as she cries, she is mentioning the names of the others that are late too.
“I solicit for financial assistance to help miracle ‘s family, for the dad to start a petty business or if anyone has a link to an employment where they repair big vehicles.
“I also need someone to meet with Miracle’s mum face to face for counselling. She is about killing herself, the depression is too much. I can feel her pains.
“I am not crying because the child died but I am crying because I couldn’t do anything for the child before he died. Please help Miracle, help her parent, Help tag someone who could help, share my post for others to be alerted please.
“The three children that died are enough. I don’t want them to lose the remaining two (Chidimma and Miracle).
