Tanzania’s “action” president reportedly bans mini skirts

President John Magufuli of Tanzania has reportedly banned mini skirts in his country.
It is official; women in Tanzania have three weeks to enjoy their short skirts and dresses. After that, showing of a thigh will be illegal, Standard media reports.
Magufuli who became president following victory in last October’s presidential elections is popular both locally and internationally for introducing cost-cutting measures accross the country.
The president is quoted to have said that mini skirts and short dresses encourage the spread of HIV/AIDS.
Reports say Tanzanian women have been given three weeks to rid their wardrobes of the “offending” garments..
