The Nigerian Customs has donated 11,517 bags of rice from seized contraband goods to Borno State as part of government’s plan to cushion the effect of the insurgency on displaced persons in the state.
Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima, has said displaced persons in the state, numbering about 2million, will be made to return to their towns and villages after the state government’s reconstruction of communities destroyed by Boko Haram insurgents.
Borno State governor, Kashim Shettima has presented a N10million cheque to Samira, widow of Lt. Col Abu Ali who was killed by Boko Haram terrorists at Malam-fatori, Borno on November 4.
