Suspected kidnapper caught asleep after overdosing on tramadol
A suspected kidnapper in Ondo state has been arrested after he was found sleeping following a failed attempt by him and his gang to kidnap the owner of a pharmacy on Sunday.
Mr Femi Joseph, the Police Public Relations Officer of the state, in his statement stated that the incident took place on Sunday and that the remaining two kidnappers ran away from the scene after the owner of the pharmacy raised an alarm after he had escaped from his abductors.
The Ondo state Police command on Monday morning paraded the suspected kidnapper revealing that he also was found with a 400mg tablet of tramadol.
Mr Joseph also said the suspect has been asleep for 24 hours under the influence of the drug and would be charged to court after regaining consciousness.
