Super Eagles’ Victor Boniface edges closer to playing with Ronaldo in Al Nassr
Saudi Arabia side, Al Nassr, is nearing closer to completing a deal for Super Eagles, Victor Boniface.
This much was confirmed by transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on Tuesday.
According to the Italian Journalist, the deal is “advancing.”
The move comes as a shock to many football observers, who believe the move to the Arab country is coming too early for the young forward.
Earlier, Bayer Leverkusen Manager, Xabi Alonso, confirmed that he was aware that talks were ongoing between both clubs.
The imminent departure of Boniface will come as a blow to the German team who have relied on the star man for goals.
Last season, Boniface racked up 14 goals and 8 assists to help his side on a remarkable unbeaten run in the Bundesliga en route to lifting the league title.
Should the deal be confirmed officially, Boniface will team up with former Ballon D’or, Cristiano Ronaldo, as well as fellow African Sadio Mane at Al Nassr.
