“Star Lager Beer Surprised Me With A Trip To Russia, I’m Still In Shock” – Ebuka Okafor
Sunday, June 3rd, 2018, was a special day for one young football fan who was lucky to be among those selected in the Star Lager Trip To Russia draw in Anambra to enjoy an all-expense paid trip to watch and support the Super Eagles in Russia.
Ebuka Okafor got the surprise of a lifetime after emerging as the winner of a raffle draw held in Anambra on June 4th, 2018.
Ebuka had this to say about the experience, “I have always been a fan of the Nigerian Super Eagles like millions of other Nigerians, and on this day I came again to support them at the Star Fan Park in Aba. and while they didn’t deliver as per bringing home full points I have been rewarded by my darling Star to continue giving my support to Nigeria even at Russia. I’m still in shock, I feel lucky, I feel blessed, thank you Star.”
As the winner of this trip to Russia, Ebuka travelled to Russia and watched Nigeria as they faced off against opponent Argentina.
Star Lager, Nigeria’s premium beer brand, signed a partnership deal with NFF in February and, since then, has been rewarding fans with many initiatives in support of the Super Eagles Nigeria’s football team, which include sending five lucky individuals to Russia to watch their nation compete for global dominance.
