South Koreans party like it’s Christmas after corrupt president is impeached
March 11, 2017

South Koreans are not satisfied with the impeachment of leader, Park Geun-hye.
Park was forced from office on Friday, after judges unanimously upheld parliament’s decision to impeach her over her role in a corruption scandal involving close friend, Choi Soon-sil.
Despite the ruling, she remains inside the presidential compound. And she’s keeping her silence.

But South Koreans want her arrested.
Thousands turned out for rallies in Seoul on Saturday, a day after three people involved in protests died there.
Protesters are agitating and celebrating at the same time.

They set off fireworks to celebrate Park’s impeachment, while at the same time demanding she be arrested and prosecuted.
