Soldier allegedly slaps bus driver, threatens him with pocket knife
The Nigerian soldier has done it again or so it seems.
Yes, gallant Nigerian troops are mounting a commendable war against senseless Boko Haram terrorists in the northeast.
But some Nigerian soldiers would rather use their weapons to terrorise unarmed civilians, it seems.
On Tuesday, a citizen reporter caught a man in Nigeria’s sacred military uniform drawing his pocket knife on an apparently innocent bus driver.
The man’s bus had broken down and the driver was trying to deal with the situation when the “soldier” allegedly offered his brutal “help.”

The citizen reporter she said she was horrified a solider could treat a Nigerian citizen that way.
The incident happened in Oshodo-Isolo area of Lagos State, she told NewsroomNG.
“I guess it their ‘showbiz’ season. I saw one ‘uniformed bully’ called ‘soldier’ slap the driver of the bus I boarded from Oshodi asking him to move the bus when it was obvious that it was faulty,” she said.
“Funny enough he was quick to bring out his pocket knife. Smh.
“They (Nigerian soldiers) should protect and not bully people,” she said..
