Lagos at 50: Why wait this long to honour Ebola superhero Dr. Stella Adadevoh?

But it appears the Lagos State government is yet to add Stella Adadevoh to the “physical” list. And we don’t know why.

Adadevoh paid the ultimate price defending Lagos, and Nigeria, against the Ebola virus. So why is she not on THAT list?

“If the Lagos State Government won’t do it for her, I will,” says Deji Ayowole who did this to honour the late hero doctor.

Don’t be deceived, this is Photoshop. It says “Land of Survivors”. The one Lagos government pushed out this morning (see below) says “Land of Heroes”.

“She is the reason why Lagos can celebrate 50 years in good health,” Ayowole says.

“She DESERVES to be acknowledged for her heroic endeavors. Lagos could have been swamped with the Ebola disease and it could have been uncontrollable, but thanks to her, it was contained.

“God bless you Dr. Stella Adadevoh. May your soul rest in peace.

“This doesn’t exist anywhere. I photoshopped it,” Ayowole adds.

“Dear Lagos, what are you waiting for?” We were about to ask…and this popped up.

An agency associated with “Lagos at 50” pushed this out this morning. But we’re waiting to see the doctor’s banners (the “physical” list) hit the roadsides.
