Rape victim chops off assailant’s manhood in Katsina
A suspect of rape from Yargase village in Katsina has been reportedly rushed to the hospital after his manhood was severed by a 14-year-old victim.
The police disclosed that 30-year-old Bishir Yau had lured the young girl into an uncompleted building in the same compound where they both lived.
It was in this building that he repeatedly raped her as she struggled unsuccessfully to free herself from his grasp.
When all her efforts yielded no result, she brought out a razor blade from her purse and chopped off the tip of Yau’s penis.
The management of Kankara General Hospital where the suspect was taken to informed the police about the incident, and he was subsequently arrested.
Yau has been charged with rape and has been ordered to appear before Katsina Magistrate’s Court for arraignment.
The court received the suit on Friday, and the police prosecutor, Inspector Sani Ado informed the court that investigation on the incident has been completed.
The Chief Magistrate of the court, Fadila Dikko scheduled Yau’s arraignment on April 4, 2019.
