Property owners around LASU to pay N1.25m for C of O

All landlords who own property in and around the Lagos State University (LASU) community can heave some sigh of relief as the land regularisation fees have been reduced by 67%.

The property owners will now pay N1.25m per plot for regularisation and issuance of Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) instead of N3.9m.

Governor Ambode said all property owners within government acquisition will now cease to be tenants of the university but that of the state government.

He said he plans to make the process for payment by the landlords considerate and flexible.
