Presidential Broadcast: What you need to know about the second flag behind Buhari

The second flag behind President Muhammadu Buhari during his statewide broadcast on coronavirus on Sunday evening created a sort of ripples on social media shortly after the address.

Many worried netizens who were surprised to see another flag aside the Nigerian green and white flag behind the president during the broadcast started asking questions.

The President’s aides Tolu Ogunlesi and Bashir Ahmad provided answers.

The flag is a tri-service flag with colours representing the Nigerian Army (Red), Navy (White) and Air Force (Blue).
