President Buhari returns to Abuja from Sallah holiday in Daura
Nigeria’s president, Muhammadu Buhari, has arrived Abuja after spending a week in his hometown, Daura in Katsina for the Ed-El-Kabir festivities.
He travelled to Daura on August 30, 2017 shortly after presiding over the Federal Executive Council meeting.
The President used the opportunity to meet a number of old friends.

Buhari was received by dignitaries and welcomed to a mixed emotion that trailed the report of the National Bureau of Statistics which stated that the Nigerian economy is officially out of recession.
Some Nigerians believe that the report was a pointer to the fact that the Federal Government was working hard to improve the economy.
Others however disagreed, saying the verdict should not only be on paper, but be seen positively in the lives of the people as the prices of products were still out of the reach of ordinary Nigerians.
Now that President Buhari is back, the next few weeks will decide.
