Police arrests alleged killer of GUS winner Hector Jobateh

Operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Lagos Command, led by Sanusi Mohammed, a Chief Superintendent of Police, had been on the trail of those that killed Hector Jobateh, winner of GUS since the incident occurred.

As earlier reported, Hector was shot dead at his Oko-Oba residence on September 4 after returning from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, where he had gone to pick up a sibling.

The Lagos state police command, after weeks of intensive manhunt, has arrested one Ismaila Adeyemi , aged 49years, the suspected  killer of Hector Jobateh (2007 winner of Gulder Ultimate search)

According to reports, one of the suspects identified as Williams Igana, an Uber driver, admitted that he had driven some men who threatened him with a gun to Abeokuta but had not known that they were killers.

One of the suspects was reported to still be at large; efforts are still being made to arrest and prosecute him.
