Police arrest two for raping and killing woman in Anambra hotel
Police in Anambra have arrested two murder suspects who allegedly lured their victim to a hotel and raped before killing her.
Okoronji Emeka and Umezinwa Val, both 24 years of age, had lured 35-year-old Gold Gift to the hotel on December 5.
They left her body in the hotel room before a hotel staff allegedly dumped her at BSMG roundabout Onitsha, without notifying the Police.
Police later rounded up three of the hotel staff, including the manager, one Mr Ekene Gabriel, the Bar man one Tom Bishop Emmanuel and the gate man, one Arume Ifeanyi Godwin, in connection to the murder.
Further investigation into the murder was ongoing and the suspects would be charged to court afterwards, police said on Monday.
