Police arrest ‘One chance’ robbery gang with female underwear in Abuja
Two alleged “One chance” robbers who specialised in robbing and inflicting injuries on their victims with a different dangerous weapons have been arrested by the police in FCT.
Police identified both suspects as 35-year old Anthony Sunday, and 40-year old Onyebuchi Ifeanyikwu.
They were arrested at Tungan Maje on Saturday after they robbed a lady of her phone a day earlier.
The victim had boarded the suspects’ vehicle rom Arab road Kubwa to Nyanya in the early hours of Friday, but they allegedly changed their route to Zuba area where she was robbed off her phone, two ATM card, her money and other items.
Police recovered items such as jewellery, female underwear, a phone, a bag containing women clothes and a Honda Accord car from Anthony and Onyebuchi.
