Police arrest four for stealing Jeep in Ogun
Police in Ondo have arrested four robbery suspects for stealing a Jeep belonging to one Gbenga Lana in Ibafo, Ogun state.
Ondo police commissioner, Gbenga Adeyanju, identified the suspects as Segun Sogbola, Emmanuel Ife, Akingbite Samodi, and Ibrahim Inutale.
He said they were arrested at a military checkpoint on Benin-Sagamu Expressway, and the stolen vehicle was recovered from them.
“Consequently, the Divisional Police Office of the Ore Police Division and his team, who were alerted, embarked on a stop-and-search and arrested the suspects at a military checkpoint on the Benin-Sagamu Expressway,” Adeyanju said.
The police boss further said that the suspects were in custody and would be charged to court after investigation.
