He committed the dastardly act alone, but implicated one of his colleagues, Daniel John who collected N200 from him out of the N700 he forcibly took from the victim after assaulting her. The accomplice was equally arrested with the prime suspect.

The police spokesperson in the state, Femi Joseph confirmed the incident and revealed that Bouguen committed the offence around 8:30 PM by dragging the victim into a secluded area where he assaulted her.

“He dragged me to one corner and I struggled with him, but he overpowered me and showed me a knife, threatening to kill me if I shouted,” the victim said.

“As he was struggling with me, he tore my clothes and pant. I didn’t allow him to penetrate so he ejaculated on my body, and collected the money I had with me before letting me go.”

The suspect confessed to the crime as alleged and the police disclosed that Bouguen will be prosecuted once investigations are concluded.
