PHOTOS: Overwhelming emotions as Chibok girls reunite with parents in Abuja

Parents and relatives of the recently released Chibok schoolgirls were overwhelmed with emotions as they were reunited with their daughters three years after they were whisked away by Boko Haram.

The Federal Government arranged for the reunion in Abuja on Saturday, and the ceremony was characterised by tears and screams of joy.

The girls, 82 of them, had regained their freedom on May 6, after FG successfully negotiated their release from the terrorist group’s captivity.
