Photos: The hell Iwaya people of Lagos go through everyday
This is what motorists in Iwaya, a suburb of Yaba area of Lagos State, go through everyday.
“Iwaya Road is a mess,” a citizen reporter who sent in these photos told Newsroom.
“The situation gets worse whenever it rains,” a bicycle operator said.
It has not really rained this year but the drizzles that have greeted the community have added to the woes of motorists who ply the road.
Residents said they want Lagos Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, or whoever is responsible for the road, to do the needful before real showers let all hell loose.
