In Photos: Customs officers allegedly shoot “rice smuggler” to death
The incident reportedly happened on Sunday, February 28, 2016, along, Illela-Sokoto road.
Unconfirmed reports say the “smuggler”, driving a bus filled with bags of rice, refused to stop when Customs officers asked him to.
The officers then reportedly shot at his vehicle, hitting and killing the man.
A facebook user share photos of the shot man and his vehicel with the title: CUSTOMS AGAIN!!! ALONG, ILLELA, SOKOTO ROAD!!! The behaviour of these guys is getting out of hand!!!
