Pay No Illegal Fees To Principals-Edo State Government warms
The principals of public schools in Edo state has been warned by the state government to stop the collection of illegal for the purchase of uniforms and other related academic . The warning came yesterday 2st of september in a statement issued by the Commissioner of Education, Dr Christopher Adesotu,
“The only fees approved by the Edo State government for the purchase of school uniforms are as follows: Junior Secondary School Students – ₦3,500 only and Senior Secondary School Students – ₦4,000 only.”
The statement by the commissioner makes illicit any other payment outside the aforementioned and that sanctions await any principal who defaults. he then went on to advice parents to report any official making any demand outside the said.
