Passenger bus runs through sidewalk, kills three children, one other

The cause of the accident which left so many casualties that paramedics had to call for reinforcement is yet to be ascertained.

The out-of-control bus veered off the Prince Mcwayizeni Drive near the Isinpingo Reunion Station in South Africa.

The three children killed had been waiting at the roadside while on their way to school, News24 reports.

Rescuecare spokesperson, Garrith Jamieson, said seven other people including passengers were killed in the accident.

“Paramedics arrived on the scene to find absolute carnage. A taxi had crashed through a sidewalk wall, knocking over multiple people and then crashing into another vehicle.” Jamieson said..
