Oyo speaker dies of heart attack aged 47
The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Michael Adeyemo has died after reportedly suffering a heart attack on Friday morning. He was 47-years-old.
Adeyemo emerged speaker of Oyo assembly in 2015, and he represented Ibarapa East local government area of the state.
The deceased lawmaker earned a degree in education management from the University of Port Harcourt and a law degree from the University of Ibadan.
He was, until his death, a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and International Bar Association (IBA).
