Oyo APC Chairman, Isaac Omodewu, Passes Away in the US
Isaac Omodewu, the Chairman of the All-Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has passed away in the United States. Omodewu, who was battling an undisclosed illness, succumbed to his condition after nearly a year of treatment in the United States, where he was also a citizen.
Isaac Omodewu, who hails from Otu-Itesiwaju, Oyo state, Omodewu was a prominent figure in Oyo State politics during his tenure in Oyo state politics. He served with distinction as commissioner across various ministries during the tenure of the late former governor Abiola Ajimobi. His dedication and contributions to the state’s governance were widely recognized and respected in the state.
The news of his passing was confirmed by Oyo State Deputy Youth Leader of the party, Akin Akinwale via his X(Twitter) handle on Monday, August 19.
We lost the Oyo APC State Chairman, Barr. Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu. He died in the early hours of today. He was aged 61.

It was reported that Omodewu had traveled to the U.S. in November 2023 for medical treatment.
