Oshodi union toll collectors return to park

Two months after the Lagos State Government through the Acting Commissioner for Transport, Prince Olanrewaju Elegushi, announced the suspension of transport union activities in Oshodi indefinitely, Elegushi revealed that he was not aware that the union officials only obeyed the order partially for two days and returned to the park to continue to collect illegal monies.

It would be recalled that the state government on June 5, announced the suspension of union activities in motor parks in Oshodi after violence broke out, leading to the death of Alhaji Rasaq Bello a.k.a Hamburger.
