OMG! 52 male cultists rape 16-year-old schoolgirl to initiate her into their gathering – police

Ifechukwu Atunanya, barely 16, has dropped out of secondary school.

“I am from a poor family and I wanted to be the light that will change the situation in my family,” she said.

“I got to know about cultism through a friend. She assured me that all the connections that I needed in life will be made if I joined the group.”

However, before she could be permitted to “belong,” she must open her legs wide for all the male members of the cult group…and she did. They all raped her.

Many say they join cult groups so they could be protected from oppression at school, at work, and at wherever.

Reports say the men, and probably young teenagers, who raped Ifechuckwu were members of the Supreme Vikings Confraternity.

They were all arrested while taking turns on their 16-year-old recruit during an initiation ceremony inside a bush in Awka, Anambra State.

“They do the rape thing in order to secure their oath of secrecy and it was during the raid we arrested Ifechukwu and all the males present” state police commissioner Hosea Karma said.

A male member of the gang who participated in the rape confirmed the allegation. She said the girl was even lucky as only 52 registered male cultists showed up for the initiation.

“A female intending member cannot undergo the rigorous process during the initiation,” Ugochukwu Agbazuo said.

“So, our leaders suggested that the best way to get them under oath is for every registered member to have sex with her during initiation.

“She would be given sedatives during the process so that she will not physically feel the pain. Ifechukwu’s case was better because we were only 52 registered males present on the day of her initiation.

“All of our female members were raped,” he said.

It is widely believed that cultism, which seems to be on the rise in Nigeria, is strongly backed by prominent people – in government, and elsewhere.

CP Hosea said the police acted on a tip-off that the cult members and their new entrants were in a bush performing some rituals. The police mobilized and arrested everyone involved in the initiation.

The teenage former schoolgirl was also arrested. She said she did not know cultism was a crime.

“I’m sorry for joining them,” she said.

“I traveled from Abuja to Anambra to join them. I’m so sorry. I want to go back to school.”

The police said guns, machetes and several wraps of Indian hemp were recovered from the cultists.
