Oluwaseyi Kehinde – In Memory Of Those Killed Illegally By The Nigerian Police
Oluwaseyi Kehinde was one of the students of the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) shot dead by police during a protest in Oye-Ekiti in Ekiti State, on September 10, 2019.
The protest turned violent after police officers reportedly shot at protesting students who were trying to speak with the wife of the Ekiti State governor, Bisi Fayemi, over the poor electricity in the community.
The Police have said no gunshots were fired at the incident despite viral videos showing Police openly shooting at fleeing students.
