I became an armed robber at age 14 – Controversial prophet, Odumeje

Controversial prophet and General Overseer of the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Deliverance Ministry, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje, has lifted the lid on his dirty past.

Odumeje stoked conversation on social media after revealing in a trending video that he became an armed robber at the age of 14.

He attributed this to growing up in a dangerous part of Onitsha – the commercial and industrial hub of Anambra State.

The cleric, also fondly referred to as Indabosky, said God used his mother to pull him out of the robbery gang before he later found Christ.

“I was born in Onitsha city. No 3, Nnewi street. And I grew up in a dangerous street. I became an armed robber at the age of 14.”

“I became a terrorist until Jesus Christ arrested me through the help of my mother to change my life… a destroyer becomes a saviour,” he said.

Odumeje issues death threat to social media critics

This comes weeks after the controversial prophet publicly issued a death threat to his critics on social media.

In a viral clip, the cleric talked about his unique way of dealing with unrelenting critics, which he said doesn’t require the intervention of security agencies.

”I tell people I don’t call the police for enemies,” he stated.

Explaining his process of handling unfair criticism, Odemeje said he usually overlooks a critic the first time and gives them the benefit of the doubt at the second but would take action when they become relentless in their ways.

“When you come out for me on social media, speak against me once, I watch you, look at the weight of your speaking. You talk a second time, I watch you. The third time, I watch you. Then I see it is no more a joke; it has become a challenge.

“The fourth time, then you speak, I look it again, I say this is a battlefield you set for me. You want to see power. The fifth time, I know you’re ready for me. Then I will prepare myself, bring down all the alter of power. Then I bring down Santus Sanitoria, bring down Citadel. If I don’t kill you, know that Jesus is not a true God,” he declared.
