Notorious kidnapper Evans changes his plea to ‘not guilty’
Suspected kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, a.k.a Evans has pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge of conspiracy and kidnapping of one Dunu Donatus.
The alleged billionaire was brought to court alongside five others to court in handcuffs.

Although Evans had earlier pleaded guilty to the two-count charge at his arraignment on Aug 30, 2017, on his return to court he changed his mind and pleaded ‘not guilty’.
The twist may lengthen the case longer than the prosecution had expected and is set to become a protracted legal tussle.
The Prosecution indicated their readiness to proceed with the trial and declared that they had three witnesses in court to testify.
The matter has been adjourned until Friday November 3, 2017.
