Notorious assassin behind NURTW union leader, Hamburger’s murder caught in Akure

Operatives of the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT) have arrested of a 39-year-old notorious assassin identified as Adeola Williams.

The professional assassin had been on the most wanted list of the Nigerian police for over 5 years until his arrest.

Williams is said to be behind the assassination of one Ganiyu Ayinla aka Piero. Ayinla was a Personal Assistant to one Azeez Adekunle Lawal in Lagos Island.

He was arrested in his newly rented house in Akure, Ondo State. He confessed to the assassination of Piero in Lagos State and numerous assassinations in South west.

Williams, in his confessional statement, said he was contracted to assassinate Lawal by one Rafiu Olorunwa Akanni, a former Chairman of NURTW in Lagos State.

The deal for the assassination was struck for a sum of N1.5 Million.

The deal went bad. Williams assassinated Ayinla instead of his intended target, who only got away with bullet wounds.

He also wouldn’t get his balance from Olorunwa for “incomplete job”. He said he only got N500,000 for his troubles.

Police say Williams confessed that “Mr. Olorunwa has been calling him to be very careful and that he should hide very well because his members have been arrested.”

The suspect also mentioned many other victims he has assassinated in the past which included Hamburger, a union chairman in Oshodi; Babajide Dosumu aka Mados in Ebute Meta; Salawe in Ajah; Ganiyu Asaro, and four others in Badore where he said he sprayed bullets in their car and killed the five occupants.
