Not again! Female suicide bomber attacks garage in Adamawa, 30 feared dead
The casualty figure is yet to be confirmed, but the following has been confirmed.
Two female suicide bombers attacked a busy motor park in Madagali town of Adamawa State.
An eyewitness told Premium Times that the bombers detonated the bombs at a mini market near the motor park, Monday morning.
According to the witness, 30 people were killed while 16 others were injured.
The Brigade Commander of 28 Task Force Brigade, Mubi, Victor Ezugwu, confirmed the witness’ story except the casualty figure.
Ezugwu said the figure was yet to be established. He added that the injured had been taken to hospital and that the area had been cordoned off by the military.
Neighbouring Borno state suffered similar attacks between Sunday and Monday.
