"No more originality in our society," 2Face cries out

Legendary Nigerian artiste 2Face Idibia has expressed worries over the tendency of present day folks and artistes to fake almost everything.

“Everybody is feeling the need to show off something, you know,” the “African Queen” crooner told OAP Manny on Cool FM’s “Good Morning Nigeria,” Tuesday morning.

“Make the next man look like oh they are not doing anything, ‘I am the one doing something’,” the multiple award-winning music icon said during the live interview held to promote his #FORTYfied #AllStarTributeConcert.

“So these days it is just trying to impress by all means, no matter wetin happen” 2Face said.

“So it’s taken away that real life. There’s too much fakeness going on.”

2Face’s #FORTYfied concert will hold at the Eko Hotel Convention Center on Sunday, September 20, 2015, to celebrate the music icon’s 40th birthday.
