Nigerians wild thoughts of rats in Aso Rock

Rats were said to have invaded the office of President Buhari on his arrival from London where he went to seek medical attention.

Since he came back the social media has been awashed with different stories and pictures of the rats in Aso Rock.

Femi Fani Kayode stated that Buhari should resign now that rats are chasing him.

We spoke to some Nigerians and it was mixed grill for different people.

Some said that The President did right by vacating his office promptly. They claimed that rats are commonly found wherever humans live, especially in communities with robust sewer systems.

Wild rats are not use to human contact and will bite when handled in most cases victims may contract – fever. However, a person bitten by a  rat should seek a professional advice. The common symptoms are pain, redness, swelling and secondary infection,weeping, pus-filled wound.

Immediate symptoms of rat bites include pain, redness, and even bleeding. Rats’ incisors are strong and usually break skin. In these cases, humans are at risk of contracting serious illnesses such as typhus, leptospirosis, plague, and rat-bite fever.

Rats breed like bush fire and are not respecters of sealed documents, in fact they have a nose for sealed documentation.
