Nigerian Army promises N3m cash reward for credible information on Abubakar Shekau
The Nigerian Army have offered to give anybody with credible information on notorious Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau’s whereabouts N3m cash reward.
The information must be able to lead to Shekau’s arrest.
“The Nigerian Army will give out Three Million Naira(N3,000,000.00) cash reward for any credible information that leads to the arrest of Abubakar Shekau, the fugitive factional Boko Haram terrorists’ group leader,” the Army said in a statement released Thursday evening.
The Army, who claim to have conquered the terrorist sect had, earlier in the week, said the fugitive factional leader now moves about disguising as a woman in burka.
“Anybody with such credible information can either contact the Military Command and Control Centre, Operation LAFIYA DOLE, any military location, security agencies or call the Nigerian Army Information and Call Centre 193,” the army says.
The real identity of Shekau has been a subject of controversy, with the Army previously claiming they had killed the Boko Haram general.
