Nigeria Government Arraigns 441 #EndBadGovernance Protesters In Kano

The Nigeria Government has arraigned 441 protesters in three Magistrate Courts in Kano State.
The protesters were earlier arrested during the 10-day nationwide protest against hunger and bad governance just ended.
149 protesters were arraigned before a Senior Magistrate Court No. 52 Koki, Kano, presided over by His Worship Muttaka Abba Dandago.
Before a Senior Magistrate Court No. 54 Nomansland, Kano, His Worship Ibrahim Abubakar Mansur, another 172 protesters were arraigned.
A further 120 protesters were arraigned before Senior Magistrate Court No. 33 Gyadi-Gyadi, Kano, which was presided over by His Worship Hadiza Rabi’u Bello.

The protesters are being remanded in different Correctional Custodial Centres within Kano.
The news and arraignment of these protesters appears to corroborate earlier claims by Amnesty International, a global human rights organisation, which held that about 1000 Nigerians who took part in the protest are being held in prison custody across Nigeria.
The organisation announced that, no less than 632 protesters are held in Kano State, with over 109 being remanded in Sokoto prison custody.
The Tinubu-led administration has, thus, come under heavy criticism for responding to protests with intimidation and arrests.
