“Salary is a privilege, not a right.”

Those words allegedly emanated from the office of the Governor Rochas Okorocha led Imo State government.

The government had been owing its workers for a while now, reports say. After paying them recently, a government official reportedly spew those acidic words to add insult to the pain of the government workers.

The statement was reportedly made by Okorocha’s aide on “Enlightenment,” Kelechi Okpaleke.

Should Imo State governor Rochas Okorocha be impeached for allegedly saying salary is a not a worker's right?

Impeach him! Yes, impeach him! 😡

Stop overreacting. Leave Okorocha alone.

When did he say it? Where's your proof?

Do I look like I care about what Okorocha says? 😏

We’re waiting for the government’s response.

It’s not the first time Okorocha will be in the news for a ridiculously terrible reason.

After the governor met US president Obama, a billboard of his photo with Obama surfaced along a major highway in Imo State.
