NANS endorses Seyi Babaeko, warns against rigging

The council of zonal coordinators for the National Association of Nigerian Students, ably led by Farouk Lawal has endorsed the candidacy of Oluwaloseyi Solomon Babaeko, the U.P.N candidate for the Kogi State House of Assembly.
The comrades who gathered at the Comrade Oluwaloseyi Solomon Babaeko campaign office in Kajola Kabba, commended the comrade for his noble role in the students movement. This is why we have decided to award you as the ICON of Nation building.

However, Comrade Samuel warns the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Prince Yomi Kola who also doubles as the candidate for the A.P.C against any attempted attempt to rig the forth coming election especially that of the Kabba/Bunu Constituency.

The over 30,000 000 plus 1 Nigerian Students are determined to mobilize 5000 Nigerian students to monitor the March 16th election as any attempt to rig the election would be an invitation to anarchy. Other speakers who spoke at the events are Comrade(s) Dare, Sunday Eseyin and Ojo Victor.

The DG of the Campaign Organization, Comrade Segun Awuto thanked the noble association for the deserving award.

Comrade Oluwaloseyi Solomon Babaeko, in his own thank you message, thanked the Nigerian students for the endorsement and the award.

He dedicated the award to His Excellency, Mr. Steve Babaeko, the Vice President of Association of Adevertising Agencies of Nigeria, for giving him a qualitative education both in OAU Ife and a Masters degree in Conflict, Development and Security from University of Leeds U.K., the Emir of Kastina who facilitated his admission into OAU, the suffering masses of Kabba/Bunu Constituency, the oppressed, the downtrodden, revolutionary leaders across the globe, and above all, to all our fallen heroes like Moses Osakede, Donald Onakogu, Fabocious and a host of other martyrs.

He stressed futher by using the opportunity of the gathering to appeal to President Muhammad Buhari to approve Ahmadu Bello College of Agriculture to a university status.

Babaeko further appealed to the President to intervene in the travail of Comrade Deji Adeyanju by ensuring his unconditional release.

“The President may choose to Ignore the messenger but I appeal to him not to ignore some of his messages,” Babaeko said.
