"Name your price," Ogun chief allegedly tells mother of bleeding 17-year-old girl he reportedly raped
Ismaila Rasak Jagunna is a powerful high chief in Obada Oko, Ogun State.
Residents say the wealthy 45-year-old and his family are almost untouchable.
But there are fears Chief Rasak may be engaged in something diabolical that may require him to have carnal knowledge of one virgin girl every month.
Of course, none of the allegations have been verified. They are what they are – allegations.
Mrs Morenike Aina (we made the names up) is hoping the allegations are false.
Reports say Chief Rasak raped Aina’s 17-year-old daughter on September 6.
The girl has not stopped bleeding since then, reports say.
Naij.com reported residents saying the chief was caught pants down as he penetrated the innocent teenager at the Federal Housing, Obada Oko in Ewekoro local government area of the state.
He allegedly did it in his car.
A medical report seen by the same medium confirmed the girl was penetrated, her virginity forcefully taken. The doctor who conducted the test, according to the report, made the same confirmation.
Residents say the chief has been going on “rapescapades” in recent time expressing fears he may be doing so for diabolical means.
“His targets are usually the young ones, the innocent ones, the virgins,” a resident told Newsroom.
“He is probably using them for some kind of ritual because this is happening too frequently,” the resident said.
Police arrested Chief Rasak a day after the alleged rape. He was taken into custody around 7:00 p.m. and let loosed three hours later, reports say.
Reports say the chief’s family piled pressure on Aina to drop the rape charge.
Aina reportedly said she may agree to do so because she fears for her life, and those of her family members.
A member of Chief Rasak’s family allegedly told the devastated mother to name her price, take the money and seal her lips.
Reports say the police are trying to help both parties reach an agreement that may require the victim’s family to be compensated, and to forever remain silent.
Meanwhile, the girl who was allegedly raped has not stopped bleeding, reports say.
